Care and Rehabilitation Costs - Expert Witness

Clare Garside is Assessability’s expert occupational therapist and has particular experience of care and rehabilitation costs. She has over 20 years' experience as an occupational therapy expert witness, providing functional assessments and detailed, fully costed care and rehabilitation reports and testimony to inform the Courts.

Our expert witness services are used in a wide range of cases including:

• Personal injury and clinical negligence (quantification of loss)
  • Well-evidenced reports of functional assessment, and fully costed quantification of loss occasioned by past and future care, equipment, rehabilitation and leisure needs and related losses.
  • Assessment of care costs and rehabilitation costs.
  • Assessment of immediate and intermediate needs.
    
• Public Law (housing needs)
  • Housing and/or adaptation needs, particularly of disabled children and those with challenging behaviour.

We accept instructions on behalf of either the claimant or the defence, or as a single joint expert. The percentage split, based on recent history is 70/20/10.
